A bit of bad news for space enthusiasts: Martian water may be too salty for life.

On the other hand, there's now a better anti-radiation drug.

No rational person thought there was life on Mars anyway; but it doesn't really knock the idea that there's life somewhere other than Earth. Obviously, that is a near certainty to the point where it shouldn't need to be said. The trick is locating it, and bridging the immense distances in between.

Hey, maybe Europa, maybe Titan. Maybe Jupiter. Blah blah blah. More likely than Mars, but still pretty unlikely.

Anyway, I'm pretty much just saying high to a fellow Madison Blogger. How's it going?
